International Women’s Day with Solaris Tan 2026
Supporting Women in Sport: International Women’s Day is a moment to celebrate the strength, resilience, and achievements of women around the world. In sport, women continue to push boundaries, break stereotypes, and inspire the next generation of athletes.
At Solaris Tan, we are proud to support women who train hard, compete fiercely, and represent the true power of sport — from the gym floor, to the rugby field, to the Muay Thai ring.
This year, we’re celebrating three inspiring examples of women in sport: Muay Thai fighter Emily Hickey, the Ince Rose Bridge Pantheresses rugby league team, and the growing community of women who lift.
Emily Hickey – Strength in the Muay Thai Ring
Muay Thai is one of the toughest combat sports in the world — demanding discipline, courage, and relentless determination.
Emily Hickey embodies all three.
Training and competing in Muay Thai requires incredible physical toughness, mental strength, and a commitment to improvement every single day. From grueling training sessions to stepping into the ring under intense pressure, Emily represents the spirit of modern female athletes who refuse to be limited by outdated expectations.
Her journey highlights something powerful: combat sports are no longer male-dominated arenas — they are spaces where women thrive, lead, and inspire.
At Solaris Tan, we’re proud to support athletes like Emily.
Ince Rose Bridge Pantheresses – Power in Rugby League

Rugby league is a sport built on strength, strategy, and teamwork — and the Ince Rose Bridge Pantheresses embody all three.
Women’s rugby is one of the fastest-growing sports in the world, and teams like the Pantheresses are helping lead the movement. They represent far more than competition; they represent community, empowerment, and opportunity for young girls to see what’s possible.
Whether it’s a powerful tackle, a sprint down the wing, or the teamwork that drives success on the pitch, the Pantheresses demonstrate that women’s sport deserves the same recognition, support, and visibility as men’s.
Solaris Tan is proud to stand behind teams like these who continue to inspire the next generation of athletes.
Women Who Lift – Strength Beyond the Barbell

Strength training has become a powerful movement for women around the world.
More and more women are stepping into gyms, picking up barbells, and redefining what strength looks like. Women who lift are not just building muscle — they’re building confidence, resilience, and self-belief.
Lifting weights has become a symbol of empowerment by:
-
Challenging outdated stereotypes
-
Improving both physical and mental health
-
Encouraging women to take up space and own their strength
At Solaris Tan, we celebrate the women who show up, lift heavy, and support each other along the way. Every training session, every rep, and every small victory contributes to a larger movement — one where strength is celebrated and shared.
Why Supporting Women in Sport Matters
Women’s sport is growing rapidly, but it still needs visibility, investment, and continued support.
By championing female athletes, teams, and communities, we help create a future where:
✨ Young girls see role models in sport
✨ Women feel empowered to compete and train
✨ Female athletes receive the recognition they deserve
International Women’s Day reminds us that real progress happens when we support, uplift, and celebrate women’s achievements — both on and off the field.
Solaris Tan: Proud to Stand with Women in Sport
At Solaris Tan, we believe confidence, performance, and strength go hand in hand. Supporting female athletes like Emily Hickey, teams like the Ince Rose Bridge Pantheresses, and the growing community of women who lift reflects our commitment to empowering women both in and out of sport.
But our support goes beyond simply celebrating these athletes — we actively work to help them succeed.
Solaris Tan is proud to support young women in sport through kit sponsorship, support for sporting events, and helping athletes prepare for competitions, media features, and photoshoots. From sponsoring team kits for clubs like the Ince Rose Bridge Pantheresses to supporting events that allow female athletes to compete and be seen, we’re passionate about helping women’s sport continue to grow.
We also work with athletes by providing Solaris Tan products for photoshoots, competitions, and media appearances, helping them feel confident and ready to perform both on and off the field.
By investing in women’s sport at both grassroots and competitive levels, Solaris Tan hopes to play a small part in creating more opportunities, visibility, and recognition for the next generation of female athletes.
Because when women in sport are supported, strong communities are built and future athletes are inspired. 💪
Because strong women build strong communities.
